This will change at any give time. It's always best to give yourself plenty of time when planning your book release. Also, I never bark or bite, so just email me (ladygwen@centurylink.net) if you want to know.
Once I hire you, what is your turnaround time?
Again, this can change at any time. It depends on how much work I have scheduled. The stock answer is anywhere between 5 - 10 days. But once I give you a due date, it will be completed on time.
If I hire you, how soon do I need to send my manuscript?
Within 48 hours prior to scheduled date.
How long do I have to review/proof the work once your're finished?
I'd prefer you got back to me within 5 days with any changes or corrections. But hey, I'm easy. If you can't review by then, I'll be cool with that.
Do you take rush work?
Yes, I do. If I think I can complete the work in the timeframe that you need it, then I will accept the job. It might - or might not - cost extra, depending on my workload.
If I need changes after publication, do you charge for the correction?
It depends. If I proofread or edited your document and missed something, then I'll do it for free. I will fix any mistakes I've made.
Obviously, if I only formatted your manuscript and you need changes other than formatting mistakes, then you may - or may not - be subject to a small charge. It depends on how much extra work I have to do. I don't want to charge you extra.
Can I pay by check?
The short answer is "no." But you can take your check and go buy a cashiers check or money, which I will accept.
What forms of payment do you accept?
The preferred method of payment is Pay Pal. You do not have to have a Pay Pal account, as Pay Pal accepts all forms of credit cards.
Also, as I said above, I will accept cashiers check or money order.
